In order to reliably complete the opening and closing operations of the circuit breaker, the operating mechanism should meet the following basic requirements:

1. It has sufficient operating work, that is, the work required to make the moving contact of the circuit breaker open and close;
2. With a high degree of reliability, the operating mechanism should not refuse to move or malfunction;
3. The action is fast, that is, the opening and closing action of the circuit breaker must be fast;
4. Simple structure, small size, small weight and low price.
